This is the sign on the door to Urban Menace bikes which is currently on the door leading to my basement. There is no staff or business hours....yet.  

Our Business

Urban Menace bikes was born April 26, 2008 as a birthday present to myself. The name has been rolling in my head for years and I finally decided to use it before someone else did.

Who We Are

We are me and my wife, the dog and cat try to help sometimes but usually just get fur on everything. My wife doesn't have much biking experience but keeps me grounded. I on the other hand have been on a bike since I was 3 years old. I raced BMX bikes from 1982 to 1989 then took up duel slalom racing sometime after that, all the time fixing and building my own and friends' race bikes.  I enjoy a challenge and being told something can't be done just makes that much more fun... like putting 27" wheels on a cruiser.
